THE REASON BEHIND THIS BLOG

I rejuvenate whenever memories of those feted and relished moments of past life come to my mind. At the same time I feel aghast of loosing touch with my sidekicks (buddies). I fell in search of means to counter this feeling. Then I found that a blog could prove to be a powerful means of keeping myself updated with everyone. There began the thought of creating a blog of my own.

Well, I spent a slew of days thinking of how to start this welcome note. But then I could only find that I will never end up writing one. Since, I always felt that it can be done in an even better way, which actually might not have existed. For now I have decided to tide over this dilemma and to shun the idea of thinking for a better start.

Please do hang-out with this blog, which will encourage me to update it from time to time. Finally, every effort has been made to bring this blog without an iota of a fault. Even then if you find any, do bring to my notice at the mail id provided beneath the suggestions tab. Hope you will be enthralled visiting this blog. And keep writing your comments, so that you can find your name in the “top commentators” list.

THE GREAT INDIAN FAMILY BUSINESS

28th May, 2011.

Rahul Gandhi, the General Secretary of Indian National Congress (INC), the chairperson of Indian Youth Congress (IYC) and National Students Union of India (NSUI) is the most hyped politician in the present day Indian Politics. You must be wondering as to why I started with Rahul Gandhi and not someone else like the Mallya’s or Tata’s or Ambani’s, when the title hints about family business being talked about. Well, all that I can say is, go ahead and read the below story.

Rahul was latest in news when he tried to enter the riot hit Bhatta Parsaul Village in Uttar Pradesh, and later got arrested. After his release he went on to say: "I feel ashamed to call myself an INDIAN after seeing what has happened here in UP". All this “filmi” drama is pretty much common in a country called "India". But what really impressed me are the questions that were shooted at him by a person called Dr. SUBRAMANIYAM SWAMI. I wonder how many people are familiar with that name; I wasn’t until I got to read about him very recently.

He gave ample reasons for Rahul Gandhi to really feel ashamed of. Let us have a glimpse at his questions. He suggested him to ask Pranab why was he not willing to reveal the swiss bank account holder names, ask his mother as to who was impeding the investigation against Hasan Ali? who got 60% kickbacks in the 2G scam? Kalmadi is accused of a few hundred crores, who pocketed the rest in CWC scam? Are Raja and Kalmadi scapegoats to save Big Names? And so on… the list goes uncountable

Not that Rahul doesn’t know the answers, but why is he maintaining double standards? Where was he when thousands of people committed suicides in states ruled by Congress. Isn't he ashamed of him?

And the great Indian media is highlighting this arrest. They also recently highlighted Rateh Fateh Ali Khan’s arrest when he was carrying undeclared cash. Then why didn’t they highlight Rahul Gandhi’s arrest by the FBI at BOSTON airport on similar charges. He was carrying $1,60,000 where the limit was only $10,000. He was later released on the intervention of the then Prime Minister AB Vajpayee. When FBI was asked to divulge the information for the reasons Rahul was arrested by Right/Freedom to Information Activists... FBI asked for a NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE from Rahul Gandhi.

So Subramaniyam Swami wrote a Letter to Rahul Gandhi, "If you have NOTHING to HIDE, Give us the Permission". HE NEVER REPLIED! Why did that arrest not make Headlines Rahul? You could have gone to the Media and told, "I am ashamed to call myself an INDIAN?".

Rahul boasts about being Masters in Economics from Harvard, but the truth is that he was expelled in 3 months. At St. Stephens, he failed the Hindi Exam… Hindi Exam!!! And he represents the biggest Hindi speaking state in the country, Uttar Pradesh.

Sonia Gandhi didn’t even pass High School. Rahul fakes his educational degree and so does his mother, and they go out saying, "We want Educated Youth into Politics!" You could feel a little ashamed about Lying about your Educational Qualifications. You had your reasons, because in India, WE RESPECT EDUCATION!! But who cares about Education, when you are a Youth Icon!!

Rahul traveled in the Local Train for the first time at the Age of 38. He went to some Villages as a part of Election Campaign. And he won a Youth Icon!! For 25 Million People travel by train everyday. He is the First Person to win a Youth Icon for boarding a Train. Thousands of Postmen go to remotest of Villages. None of them have yet gotten a Youth Icon. He was neither Young nor Iconic.

Now he wan’t Youth to Join Politics. First you join politics, because you haven't joined politics. You have joined a Family Business. Win an Election fighting as RAUL VINCI and Not Rahul Gandhi, then come and ask the youth and the Educated Brass for more involvement in Politics. (You will get to know about Raul later).

YOUR FAMILY just needs to NETWORK FOR A LIVING. But we have to Work for a living. Not just for ourselves, but also for you. So that we can pay 30% of our Income to the Govt. which can then be channelized to the Swiss Banks and your Personal Accounts under some Pseudo Names. So Rahul, please don't mind If the Youth doesn't Join Politics. We are doing our best to fund your Election Campaigns and your Chopper Trips to the Villages. Somebody has to earn the Money that Politicians Feed On.

Shakespeare said, What's in a Name? Little did he knew, It's all in the Name, Especially the Surname.

Because the name of ‘Rahul Gandhi’ in his passport is Raul Vinci. He don’t seem to use Gandhi except when he is fighting elections. Imagine fighting by the Name Raul Vinci...Even Leonardo Da Vinci wouldn't win an Election in India with that Name!! It feels sadly Ironic, Gandhi, who inspired Icons like Nelson Mandela ,Martin Luther King Jr. and John Lennon, across the world, Couldn't inspire members of his party/ Nehru's Family, who only seem to use his Surname for the purposes of FIGHTING ELECTIONS and conveniently use a different name on their PASSPORT.

Meanwhile, Subramaniyam Swami requested Sonia Gandhi to change her name to $ONIA GANDHI, and Rahul to replace the 'R' in RAHUL/RAUL by the New Rupee Symbol!!! How apt!!

Raul Vinci is ashamed of calling himself an Indian. After reading this, even the people of India will be ashamed of calling him an Indian.

Well, I am not a supporting or criticizing any political party or an Individual. My intention is to focus on the state of the Indian Politics. I am not that educated about Indian Politics or in specific Politics to comment on the above, but then when the situation is this worse, I feel privileged not being educated.

Swami is the president of Janata Party. He served as the minister of Commerce and Industry. He is the one who has exposed the 2G scam.

LEADER Movie Rocks.....

We are the new generation....that's how the movie theme goes…….

And as ever, Shekar Kammula has done it again, the good response the movie is receiving goes on to show that his movies have always had something for the audience to learn or cheer about.

It can be said that Daggubati Rana has made a decent enough debut. His character in the film was tailor made for him, and he has done justice to it. More than anything else, if the success of the movie has to go to a person, without a second thought it has to go to Shekar Kammula.

Though the story has nothing new to show in it, the way Shekar Kammula made it look is something special. The movie has some ups and downs, like the second half could have been made better, especially the climax, but at the end what matters is the satisfaction you get, and you will be more than satisfied with all your money spent valued. There is a lot of inspiration the movie has to offer, and hence I think it’s a must watch movie for everyone.

So, those who didn't watch the movie yet, make sure you don't miss a chance. And those who have watched, give your feedback hehe....:-)

My Rating : 4 on 5.

Re-Recruitment @ Mahindra Satyam

23rd January, 2010

Though this was not my first experience with Satyam, it was definitely my first experience with Mahindra Satyam (erstwhile Satyam). It is very pleasing to see the worlds economy(atleast India's) showing some signs of recovery from a two year long recession period. This is very much evident from the fact that many IT companies are starting to recruit employees to meet their business demands. In Mahindra Satyam's case, they have started onboarding few of those recruits made by Satyam during 2008 and 2009. I have mentioned "few of those" because, they clearly said that they will be onboarding selects in batches as and when business demand unfolds, assuring everyone of those selected for the job. To this regard they have sent mails to all those earlier recruits, asking for confirmation. Based on the confirmations received, M-SAT as they call Mahindra Satyam, have shortlisted around 1000 students who have an aggregate of above 70% in graduation from all round the country, though majority of them were from Andhra Pradesh.

Accordingly students were asked to attend an Online Intranet Exam conducted by M-SAT on 22nd January, 2010. I had a lot of questions going on about this exam. Firstly, will there be only an exam or will there be an entire selection process with GD and PI. Secondly and mostly importantly they mentioned that "there will be no elimination as such", and hence I wondered why is the exam for then?. Since I had only two days left before the exam, I thought of better leaving those doubts aside and concentrate on preparation. I made a long list of what to be dealt with in preparation, but eventually I failed to even pick out a book and have a glance at it. I was very busy with other preparations such as buying a formal dress, polishing my shoes, etc....hehe.

The day has finally come after a very long night of anticipation I had. Though it was pleasant to hear early in the morning that we are gonna have just a written test, the day didn’t kick off well for me, as I was one of the few who were made to stand in a queue under the hot sun for as long as one hour, posing a reason that the conference hall was full. What was even more disgusting was, that i was left to be the first person in the queue, which meant that had there been a bloody single place inside the hall, I could have easily been IN. Nevertheless, I stayed there assuring that my place in the queue was not lost. After an hour, suddenly the gates were opened, and seeing the way students rushed in, I got the feeling that I was in a flood relief camp. As I entered the Conference hall I saw not a single chair left empty and few people stranded at the last. I quietly joined them searching for some relief (a chair). "Overcome one trouble, another one awaits you". But all was bearable with the hope that the results will be fruitful.

Now comes the grouping of batches. Since its an online exam, and there were only about 150 systems to accommodate with, they have to group these 1000 students into 6 batches or so. Now comes the twist, on special request girls were given 100% quota for first batch. "Understandable". Then again on another request, non-locals were given quota of second batch. "Agreeable". Then the third batch was again filled with girls. Situation was getting impatient with still no empty chair in view. Then came the announcement asking "local people to better have their lunch in the mean time". We understood the situation, thought anyway they are not going to allow us for the exam, so its better to have our lunch. As my friend Ramu and I approached the Canteen, we witnessed another relief camp over there. Food became Gold now. I have given it up. But Ramu struggled, struggled, struggled and finally succeeded in bringing us both some food.

Then later we proceeded back to the conference hall. It was getting sick, we saw a long queue for registration for the remaining batches. This time for local students. Remind you, we didn’t sit anywhere since morning. We hurried and joined the queue to make sure that it doesn’t get too late. Again sickening was the fact that this time around a lot of chairs were empty, but we couldn't occupy one. ‘State of self pity’. Starting there it took 3 hours for our chance to get registered, and straight from there we went upstairs towards the computer labs. The time was reading 5:45 PM. Then again another queue to get a login ID. By this time I was exhausted, I was having back pain and my legs were aching like anything. After getting the login ID, then again another bloody queue waiting for a chance to get in.

Meanwhile, waiting in the queue, I got disgusted with myself. Prior to the exam date, I was praying that there should be no GD & PI, it happened so. Then on the morning of the exam I prayed for the exam to be a non-technical one, which luckily happened so. Yet, before entering the exam I was praying for something more easy to come in the exam. I slammed myself internally as to what was I upto. Thought as to why I was fearing when I loved the challenge and was ready to face it. I prepared myself mentally to take on the challenge and to give my best. Finally, my chance came and I was allotted a system. I logged in, and started my exam. It was a 100 questions paper divided among 6 sections unequally(Three of them English, one Quant, one Reasoning and one Logical related section). It was announced that there was no negative marking, and hence I made sure I attempted all the questions. Some of them were attempted confidently, some of them not so and some of them very blindly.

I finished my exam at 7PM, and I was a relieved man then, not because that I have written the exam that well, but because the purpose for the day was fulfilled after a long struggle. Afterall, its a struggle worth being taken. Finally before leaving home I learnt that based on the results, grades will be allotted and top graded people will be communicated within a week's time. For now the day was over paving way for another week of enthusiasm. Well I have to keep my fingers crossed.
