THE REASON BEHIND THIS BLOG

I rejuvenate whenever memories of those feted and relished moments of past life come to my mind. At the same time I feel aghast of loosing touch with my sidekicks (buddies). I fell in search of means to counter this feeling. Then I found that a blog could prove to be a powerful means of keeping myself updated with everyone. There began the thought of creating a blog of my own.

Well, I spent a slew of days thinking of how to start this welcome note. But then I could only find that I will never end up writing one. Since, I always felt that it can be done in an even better way, which actually might not have existed. For now I have decided to tide over this dilemma and to shun the idea of thinking for a better start.

Please do hang-out with this blog, which will encourage me to update it from time to time. Finally, every effort has been made to bring this blog without an iota of a fault. Even then if you find any, do bring to my notice at the mail id provided beneath the suggestions tab. Hope you will be enthralled visiting this blog. And keep writing your comments, so that you can find your name in the “top commentators” list.

Interview calls for MBA

13th July, 2009.

Today I received two letters asking me to attend interviews for admission into MBA courses. While one was from the National School of Business(NSB), Bangalore, the other was from International School of Business and Research (ISBR), Bangalore. They were sent to me based on my ICET score. Looking at them, my first reaction was of complete surprise and I was left spellbound.

Reading the first letter, i.e from NSB, I found few notable points. Most important of them was that the course was not completely from NSB. Certification will be given by Sikkim-Manipal University or the Bharatiyar University along with the MBA-Plus certification from NSB. Also I will not be able to attend the interview because the interview is on 14th July, the day after receiving this letter. The deadline for confirming was over then.

Coming to ISBR, though the date of interview is on 18th of july, I don’t want to deviate from my dream of making it to IIM’s or atleast giving my cent percent in preparing for CAT. For, anyway I will be writing MAT through which I can get back to these b-schools if necessary. So wish I am making the right decision in ignoring these calls.

If you want to pursue an MBA program which is highly value driven and student-centric, then become a part of the most promising institute in Bangalore.
